Job Description

As a Senior Finance Business Systems Analyst, your goal is to help us grow by building and scaling our Finance Systems. 

You will:

  • Work on complex business problems, leveraging Oracle Financials and other Finance systems/tools 

  • Lead full projects from beginning to launch

  • Design and implement new methods, procedures, and systems (both automated and manual) to improve the processing and flow of information within the company

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex problems

  • Guide communication between functional users and the development team

  • Be the contact for functional questions and coordination such as functional specification documentation, defects, and other questions

  • Create and maintain up-to-date, functional, and technical systems documentation for any and all customization and maintenance actions taken

  • Perform and document program unit assessments based on sample data, stipulated functional test conditions, and stipulated expected results; resolve any issues of functionality (i.e., debug program logic errors)

  • Partner with team members in our Finance teams, help determine their needs, and translate those needs into system solutions.

Qualifications

You have:

  • You have: BS in Information Systems, Technology, or equivalent

  • 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst with increasing levels of responsibility

  • At least 5 years of in-depth experience with one or more Oracle Financial applications, preferably Oracle Fusion Cloud 

  • Knowledge of Consolidations, Eliminations, Revaluations and Translations 

  • Experience in Revenue, FA, GL, AR, AP, PO, SLA and AGIS

  • Knowledge of Vertex or other tax engine

  • Accounting knowledge 

  • An in-depth understanding of the set-up and architecture of Oracle Financials, including workflow and concurrent manager
