Our UK Sales team is passionate about bringing new technology to UK merchants and works hard to make commerce easy for them. We’re a collaborative and empathetic sales team, focused on helping merchants of all sizes start, run, and grow their business - and helping them grow their business is good business for everyone. We are looking for an Account Executive for our Sales Team based in London. You will report to the Sales Lead, and use your entrepreneurial spirit and passion for problem-solving to find opportunities for Square to help merchants grow.
You will:
Master the Square Platform product capabilities and value to guide client conversations across a range of company sizes
Oversee the full-cycle sales and develop a pipeline of new prospects
Achieve and exceed monthly sales goals
Lead in developing and circulating the set of best practices which are the foundation of this growing team
Listen to the needs of the market and share with Product and Marketing teams
Be an outward-facing ambassador of Square’s beliefs, brand and products
Qualifications
You have:
2 years’ of experience in a Sales or similar role in the technology industry
A BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
Experience or an interest in outbound sales and prospecting
Experience exceeding sales targets
An analytical, structured thought process with the ability to assess business opportunities and read prospective buyers
Excellent collaboration and communication skills that help you connect with customers by email and phone - quickly establishing trust and partnership
A genuine curiosity about people and business, and can inspire passion in others
