Job Description

As an Experiential Designer on our award-winning Creative Studio team, you’ll create beautiful design work in a variety of mediums required to support the range of external facing, business events at Square. On a daily basis, you’ll collaborate with both the Experiential Marketing and Design teams to launch initiatives throughout the company. You’ll design for events like trade shows, summits, influencer dinners, and proprietary educational series. You’ll create assets like event landing pages, stage pieces, uniforms, and presentation decks. You’ll contribute to event strategy, brand visual language, and design processes to create the best experiences for our merchants. This role will report into the Creative-Studio team. 

Qualifications

You have:

  • Experience in interior or environmental design
  • Experience with creative print production processes and substrates
  • Experience with CAD or other rendering software to help pitch experiential concepts
  • A deep knowledge of grid systems, typography, color, composition, and layout
  • Ability to work within and extend Square’s design system and brand
  • Desire to improve upon the way experiential events are typically run/designed in the tech space
  • Comfortable iterating quickly and communicating ideas across different levels of fidelity
  • Collaborate with your immediate team (writers, other designers, producers, production designers), and your cross-functional partners on the Experiential Marketing Team
  • Comfortable jumping between multiple projects with ease
  • 4 year design (or related) degree is preferred
  • 1-2 years of industry experience
