Job Description

The Governance team is responsible for the Compliance team’s coordinated and overarching strategy for foundational compliance program elements that influence each area of the team. Their focus includes management of governing Compliance policies across all markets and products, risk assessments, audits, training, vendor management and due diligence and the Compliance team’s role in all Board oversight.

The Compliance Training Administrator will work internally alongside the Compliance Leads and Legal team to maintain a global training program. Additionally, the Training Administrator will design and manage the Compliance team’s education program to assist in the team’s continued learning and development.

You will:

  • Lead the creation and implementation of all Compliance trainings that the company receives (Anti-Money Laundering “AML”, Harassment and Global Anti-Bribery & Corruption)  

  • Manage the relationships and interface with various third party training vendors

  • Assist with the creation of the annual Board of Directors training

  • Maintain all training records that are subject to audit

  • Interface with examiners and auditors to give an overview of Square’s Compliance training program

  • Ensure employees follow established training policies

  • Design and manage the Compliance team’s Continuous Education program

  • Work to bring in outside guest speakers and on going education opportunities for the team


You have:

  • Minimum two years of work experience in a project management based role

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience 

  • 2-3 years of experience in learning and development or training administration

  • Experience working with learning management systems, Workday is a plus

  • Clear and effective written skills that reflect high attention to detail

  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities

  • Adaptability in an agile and fast-paced environment

  • Ability to independently collaborate with team members of all levels, as well as cross-functional partners
