Job Description

Cash App is constantly growing the services and products we offer in our efforts to make personal finance as simple, unified, and accessible as possible. These offerings currently include P2P, Cash Card, Direct Deposit, Boosts, Stocks, and Bitcoin. Inorder for all of these products to reach their full potential, we need all our customers to view us as the primary place they keep their money. The job of the Balances product lead is to drive that paradigm shift and grow the cash holdings customers keep on our platform. This role has the potential to directly and significantly drive revenue, customer engagement, and system wide growth. To accomplish this, you will work directly with your team as well as cross-functionally with colleagues in Operations, Marketing, Legal, Compliance, Support, and Product. You will work with our executive leadership team and business leaders to hone and deliver on this critical strategy.   • Own and drive the strategy for Balances

  • Drive the tactics and delivery timelines for the work required to drive growth

  • Develop innovative and industry leading products that uniquely serve Cash App’s customers and differentiate our products from competitors

  • Inspire your cross-functional peers in order to build a strong partnership in delivering excellent products and services

  • Influence key stakeholders throughout Cash App in order to align resources and prioritization


  • 5+ years of product management or equivalent experience

  • Experience managing and integrating a diversity of partners and processes into a cohesive product

  • Experience driving growth initiatives that require deeper data analysis (DAU/MAU/LTV are terms and measurements you are drawn to) as well as working through seams and removing friction

  • Strong customer empathy and experience shaping product direction and execution based on customer needs

  • Navigated product scale challenges in a high growth environment

  • Managed a high performing team that consistently delivers
