Job Description
As the Senior Integration and Data Architect, you have the ability to work with stakeholders to translate functional and non-functional requirements into integration interfaces and implementations. You will also be responsible for creating end-to-end enterprise data strategy, engage in critical business and technical initiatives, all while ensuring our solutions are well-architected for fit and scalability. These initiatives will conform to long-term strategic priorities and overall change.
Provide leadership and set strategic direction for the data & integration architecture within the enterprise.
Evolve and shape the data strategy, architecture, platforms, standards and delivery models.
Define and grow the data strategy, platform and capability within the organization to support analytics, reporting, operational data storage and master data management.
Specify and publish standards around data transport and data APIs.
Provide architectural guidance and leadership through the product implementation lifecycle.
Implement a unified data strategy that will streamline and modernize the acquisition, processing, storage and analysis of data across different internal and external systems including Datawarehouse, CRM, ERP and Web API sources.
Analyze and design integration architecture to meet the information technology and business requirements
Articulate recommendations through compelling presentations and architectural blueprint documents to a variety of audiences
Provide technology architectural assessments, strategies, and roadmaps for the integration domain.
Lead technical teams through complex, multi-phased delivery projects and provide hands-on delivery guidance
Establish integration and data standards, ensure compliance and operationalize the integration solutions, assess new applications and technologies to be integrated, protocols to support, and underlying infrastructure components to execute on the MuleSoft Anypoint platform.
Transform business requirements into scalable/manageable solution architecture and design specifications
Partner with other functions across IT & business to ensure collaboration, consistency and quality of solutions
Create the high-level design of integration solutions and guide implementation teams on the choice of Mule components and patterns to use in the detailed design and implementation
Design reusable assets, components, standards, frameworks, and processes to support and facilitate API and integration projects
Ensure self and development team adheres to documented design and development patterns and standards
Provide mentoring on advanced development concepts and technical capabilities to developers.
Provide continuous improvement and exploration of industry standards and technology advances
Qualifications
10+ years of data integrations, data management and data architecture experience.
5+ years MuleSoft experience in transforming complex strategic business requirements/plans into workable technology solutions.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong cognitive ability especially with respect to understanding, documenting, and describing complex technical subjects
Deep knowledge of with microservices architecture and API strategy development
Must have performed in an architect role on multiple complex deployments involving MuleSoft
Experience with MuleSoft On-Premise and Cloud solutions
Experience securing and managing APIs via MuleSoft API Manager.
Must have experience with common relational database technologies such as Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server
Must have experience integrating with Saas solutions like Salesforce.com, Oracle Cloud ERP and Workday
Experience with common web connectivity and integration standards/protocols such as XML, SOAP, REST, JSON and JDBC
Experience with DevOps and CI/CD concepts, and build pipelines using Jenkins and Maven
Experience with the entire API development lifecycle from design & build to governance & management
Experience with GCP and/or AWS
Master’s degree or equivalent industry experience
