Help Square revolutionize the way people make and accept payments. We’re looking for an IT Support Specialist to join our IT team. This is a great opportunity to work and grow with a fantastic company, learning more and more every day. We are predominantly OS X, with a growing Windows, Chrome OS, and Linux environment, requiring a motivated self-starter who is eager to learn more.
You will:
Answer questions and provide support and field questions for Square employees (in person at the helpdesk, and online via tickets and/or Slack and email)
Image Mac, Windows, and Linux computers
Perform small project based work to improve IT and Square systems
Qualifications
You have:
Fantastic customer service skills
OS X or Windows end-user support experience
Great problem solving and intuitive troubleshooting skills
A strong understanding of connecting computers to networks
Ability to lift 50+ lbs computer equipment and hardware, climb ladders and use hand tools where necessary
Experience in Gsuite Administration
Ability to work some weekend days
1-2 years work experience
Even Better:
VOIP administration experience
Experience troubleshooting Chrome OS
Experience building Windows images
Previous work experience in a startup environment and/or in a rapidly growing enterprise environment
Command-line Unix experience
Experience using Atlassian products
