Square Payroll is automating one of the most complex administrative aspects of running a business. We are helping businesses hire, retain and pay great talent so they can grow their business. As the Product lead, you will be a part of the leadership team that drives the strategy and evolution of this burgeoning line of business for Square. You will lead a group of talented PMs to scale our existing business and expand in to new ventures. You'll bring depth of Product Management leadership capabilities and subject matter experience, as well as a consistent track record of success in fast-growth organizations. 

You Will

• Lead and coach a diverse team of strong product managers and help them do their best work across a wide range of product and operations initiatives.

• Help shape our product development process as we continue to grow.

• Work cross-functionally with Customer Success, Sales, Engineering, Design to continue to refine how we work together effectively as we grow. 

• Work with Design, Engineering and Growth to set the vision for the payroll product. Drive the product strategy to maximize impact for our customers and Square’s business.

• Foster an environment that enables the team to execute quickly while maintaining a high standard for quality.

You have:

• 8+ years of product management experience

• 3+ years of experience building and managing product teams

• A collaborative approach: Track record of delivering results with cross-functional teams

• Entrepreneurial spirit: You're a self-starter with flexible skills

• Results: Proven track record of shipping simple, elegant user-facing products

• Efficiency: Excellent organization and prioritization skills

• Analytical skills: You have a data-driven learning style
