This individual can work from Square's Oakland or San Francisco office. 

The Square Treasury team is looking to hire an Analyst to help grow our global treasury operations team. This role presents the opportunity to work across a variety of core Square business functions, focusing primarily on liquidity management.  You will be a key contributor to optimizing Square’s global liquidity and bank account structure. 

Responsibilities Include: 

• Manage liquidity strategy across all entities and products through analysis of cash position worksheets, optimization of bank account structure, bank fee management, and maintaining banking relationships

• Own Square’s global cash forecast - integral in guiding capital allocation and product roadmap decisions

• Support Square’s investment function

• Partner with accounting on operations and close

• Maintain users on multiple global banking portals

• Lead the Treasury Compliance function through support of all bank, debt, and SOX related compliance items

• 2-4 years experience in Corporate Treasury or related field

• A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field 

• Experience with core cash management, familiarity with a Treasury Management System a plus

• Strong understanding of financial and operational controls

• Team player who is able to work on a variety of projects simultaneously

• Candidate must enjoy getting "hands dirty", have a strong work ethic, and excel in a fast-paced environment
