The Risk Compliance Specialist is a detail-oriented, organized, motivated individual who will play a key role in supporting and driving Caviars continued growth nationwide. You will work closely with a range of teams across the country ensure that our courier and logistics network is responsive to a variety of administrative requests and requirements When a problem is identified, youll dig in and get scrappy to solve it in an efficient and expedient manner.

You are hungry to succeed and willing to roll up your sleeves to make it in a fast-moving company at the forefront of on-demand food delivery and ordering. You can communicate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders and are solution oriented.

You will:

  • Manage Caviars Courier background check process

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of how we work with Caviars Courier partners

  • Be responsible for managing Caviars response to various administrative requests and requirements

  • Respond to government, insurance, and legal correspondence.

  • Process wage garnishment requests.

  • Be responsible for Caviars recurring courier compliance audits to ensure that all couriers have completed and validated all required documentation to work on the platform.

  • Be a resource for local operations teams to help interpret and cooperate with Squares Legal team and their guidance

  • Be responsible for responding to chargebacks submitted for Caviars thermal bag sale operations.

  • Revise, automate, and improve Caviars reporting and compliance processes to improve our accuracy and response time to critical external stakeholders


You Have

  • 1-3 years of experience working in a similar compliance or legal role

  • A demonstrated ability and desire to think and act like an owner. You take a highly proactive approach to identifying challenges, developing solutions, and taking charge of the implementation.

  • A detail-oriented approach to your work. You can manage multiple, concurrent work streams where every detail matters

  • The skill-set to work cross-functionally to accomplish tasks, projects and solve problems to achieve company objectives

  • A desire to understand how all parts of the Caviar business works

  • Experience working on a marketplace/on-demand product is a plus
