Job Description

The Restaurant Partnerships Coordinator, a 10-15 hr/week internship position, is essential to the success of the Caviar NYC. You’ll be supporting the local Restaurant Partnerships Manager building relationships with our top accounts, as well as developing new tactics to address the needs of a rapidly growing market.

This is a part-time, contractor position (2-3 days/week) through the end of June, with the opportunity to continue through end-of-year, pending performance. We are flexible with regards to when and where you work, but would expect you to come to the Caviar office in SoHo during business hours at least two days per week.

In this role, you’ll gain key account management experience, learn to evaluate and prioritize opportunities, re-negotiate agreements to drive results, and help execute new initiatives that meet the needs of our partnered restaurants.

This is a great opportunity to hone your cross-functional communication skills, develop a strategic mindset to maximizing the impact of your efforts, as well as build relationships with restaurant partners that help differentiate Caviar and Square as the best food tech company in NYC.

You will:

  • Assist the Partnerships Manager to determine new opportunities for growth with currently partnered restaurants.

  • Engage with restaurants and negotiate terms of new opportunities, and guide them through the process to update their account (e.g. processing updated agreements, providing information for adding a website link to Caviar, etc).

  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to help build and execute marketing campaigns.

  • Respond to partnered restaurant questions and work cross-functionally to resolve their concerns and  escalate their issues appropriately.

  • Track key metrics, analyze the impact of projects, and recommend new ideas based on findings.

  • Coordinate and process restaurant tech requests.

Qualifications

You Have:

  • 1-2 past hospitality, sales, or other relevant internships, academic, or professional experiences.

  • Hustle. You’re willing to roll up your sleeves and build relationships with restaurants to help them grow their business

  • An interest in both creative and analytical thinking. A desire to learn and make data driven decisions.

  • Strong attention to detail, from using the perfect punctuation to creating well-structured spreadsheets.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Strong project management skills and ability to consistently deliver against deadlines.

  • A love of food, hospitality, and interest in building relationships with our great restaurant partners in NYC.
