Job Description

Weebly is looking for a Growth Marketing Manager to own content strategy for our Organic Growth Marketing team. This is a highly cross-functional role with the opportunity to work across a variety of areas — including performance marketing, product marketing, content marketing, design, engineering, and brand strategy — that will manage Weebly’s content roadmap and pipeline to drive growth and funnel optimization.

The ideal candidate is looking to move critical business metrics and work collaboratively across a variety of marketing channels on high-quality, engaging web content that speaks to entrepreneurs, creatives, makers, and businesses at all stages of their journey to help drive their success.

Qualifications

You will:

  • Drive growth and funnel optimization through a diverse set of organic traffic sources and channels, working closely with key stakeholders across content marketing, lifecycle marketing, product marketing, engineering, and brand strategy

  • Develop SEO strategy, including managing website optimization roadmap, researching business priorities, tracking KPIs, and reporting to key stakeholders to inform key growth initiatives that increase qualified organic traffic to Weebly’s public website

  • Develop content strategy, including managing web content pipeline and production for use in growth marketing and channel distribution, and providing clear and effective communication of project requirements across stakeholders and functions (editorial, paid media, social media, email, etc)

  • Coordinate content-focused growth experiments that have a significant impact on user acquisition, working closely with design and engineering to optimize signup and conversion funnels on Weebly’s public website

  • Support cross-functional squad with go-to-market planning, content execution, and analytics around feature releases/updates and product announcements/launches

  • Ensure content adheres to brand and editorial guidelines while elevating performance optimization

  • Generate content performance reports, utilizing Google Analytics and internal tools to track trends and key results

You have:

  • 4+ years of relevant content and/or marketing experience

  • Track record of having a large impact on critical growth metrics

  • Experience developing and executing a variety of growth experiments that have a significant impact on conversion

  • Advanced knowledge of technical SEO, and ability to communicate SEO concepts and best practices across stakeholders and functions

  • Advanced knowledge of web analytics and SEO performance metrics, including ability to use Google Analytics 360 Suite, and Google Webmaster Tools

  • Experience producing content for desktop and mobile web, including an understanding of information architecture and web content best practices

  • Familiar with content marketing and editorial production

  • Familiar with attribution models and campaign reporting metrics that drive lead generation and retargeting opportunities

  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
