Job Description
Square is hiring a Campaign Manager to oversee the day-to-day trafficking and management of online and social campaigns. This role requires expertise in campaign management, tag management, testing, QA and reporting. The role will be responsible for building campaigns, monitoring and reporting on performance, keeping a finger on the pulse and performance of Square campaigns.
Responsibilities:
Manage the daily performance of Paid Search and Social programs through campaign management software
Build and project manage testing plan to launch new audiences and creatives within social channel
On-going financial management (budget and forecast) of campaigns
Analyze campaign performance, pull reports, and make recommendations for optimization
Work closely with the internal analytics team to implement any necessary custom programming for conversion or event tracking on websites.
Create, implement, and maintain tags and tracking URLs for all digital campaigns.
Generate, QA, and troubleshoot implementation of conversion tags, tracking pixels and scripts. Anticipate and identify issues with campaigns or ad tech partners.
Monitor and troubleshoot campaign pacing and performance issues caused by discrepancies, creative rejections, etc.
Identify process inefficiencies and ways to improve operations workflow
Resolve tracking and reporting discrepancies between internal systems and/or partners/vendors
Review trafficking plans and work with Analytics team to ensure proper collection of data.
Assist with monthly invoicing/billing reconciliation
Qualifications
Requirements:
1-3 years of experience in Campaign Management, Digital Media/Ad Ops, or Ad trafficking
In-depth knowledge of technologies and processes involved with the following technology platforms:
Web analytics tracking (tagging and log file based). Expertise in Tealium is preferred.
Campaign Management tools like Kenshoo, Marin, Nanigans or similar.
Ad serving and campaign tracking technologies
Proven experience providing (high level) technical requirements and features (e.g. tagging, data architecture and database management)
Experience with conversion rate optimization (CRO) / AB / Multivariate testing
Excellent project management and cross functional capabilities
Attention to detail is crucial for success in this role; diligence, self-starter mentality, and exceptional organizational skills are required
Technical skills such as SQL, Python, R/SAS/Stata a plus
