The Opportunity: SmartConnect Account Manager
The SmartConnect Account Manager is a crucial role responsible for delivering a world-class experience and fostering long-term, high-value relationships with assigned accounts. You will be the trusted primary contact, strategizing with clients to maximize engagement, lead generation, and overall account penetration.

Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties)
As a SmartConnect Account Manager, you will be responsible for three core areas: Client Relationship Management, Strategic Growth & Engagement, and Operational Excellence.
Client Relationship Management:
Serve as the primary, trusted point of contact for all assigned accounts, promptly addressing concerns and delivering exceptional service.
Successfully onboard new clients and develop strong, lasting relationships with key customer stakeholders and executive sponsors.
Execute regular client training, resource development (webinars/content), and appreciation initiatives to strengthen relationships and educate partners.
Strategic Growth & Engagement:
Develop and implement strategic plans and engagement campaigns (weekly, monthly, quarterly) to maximize account activity and lead generation.
Identify, pitch, and secure new business opportunities and expansion within the existing book of business, ensuring year-over-year growth.
Collaborate with Account Executives to achieve ambitious sales targets and expand our overall book of business.
Operational Excellence & Reporting:
Maintain meticulous records and data integrity within the internal CRM and conduct regular data audits.
Track and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure success, analyze account metrics, and prepare executive reports on client performance.
Work closely with Marketing to create compelling, client-facing content and ensure all SmartConnect resources are functional and accurate.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of all account management operations.
Qualifications
Experience & Education:
Minimum BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.
Minimum 3 years of sales experience, preferably in B2B sales or account management.
Required Knowledge:
Strong knowledge of the Medicare landscape, including Medicare Supplement, Medicare Advantage plans, prescription drug plans, and ancillary products.
Core Competencies:
Exceptional written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and process-minded with exceptional time management.
Proven ability to work collaboratively and effectively across interdepartmental teams.
