Spring Garden Academy is currently hiring preschool teachers for our Free PreK program offered by the City of Philadelphia (PHLpreK). We are looking for qualified individuals who understand our vision and mission and are committed to a holistic view of education in a high-risk community. We place a high focus on meeting the needs of at-risk and trauma-impacted families and encourage a collaborative approach to teaching and support.

For a Lead Teacher: 2-5 years experienced required. AA in Early Childhood Education or a related field required; BA preferred. Strong commitment to differentiated instruction, whole child development, child-focused learning, standards-based reporting, ongoing formative assessment, professional growth, and understanding of at-risk communities, and a school family model of education highly desired. Familiarity with Conscious Discipline and/or Keystone Stars are a plus.

For Assistant Teacher: Minimum of CDA or 6 hours ECE required; AA preferred.
