Job Description

We are looking to hire an Office Assistant to join our team. An Office Assistant is primarily responsible for supporting the facility needs of the company including reception, housekeeping, clerical, and basic maintenance duties. This position entails the ability to maintain a positive, professional manner in a demanding and varied office environment. In this role, you will interact with all levels of staff to ensure a productive and functioning environment.

Salary range: $37000 - $47000 per year.

 Office Assistant Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to management and performing administrative duties.

  • Answering telephone calls, as well as screening and forwarding calls.

  • Scheduling and confirming appointments, meetings, and events.

  • Welcoming and assisting visitors in a friendly and professional manner.

  • Handling basic inquiries and sorting mail.

  • Copying, scanning, and filing documents.

  • Monitoring office supplies and ordering replacements.

  • Keeping the reception area tidy and observing professional etiquette.

  • Performing other administrative tasks, if required.


  • Previous administrative experience in an office setting with working knowledge of accounting procedures is a plus.

  • Excellent verbal and written communications;

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail;

  • Ability to manage complex tasks and prioritize competing demands to meet deadlines.
