Job Description

This exciting opportunity has opened to assist with day-to-day accounting operations for international companies within the Sportradar Group.  The role will offer career progression and you will improve your skills leading to a successful career as a qualified accountant.

The Accountant reports to the Accounting team lead. This role would suit an ambitious, energetic person keen to progress further in dynamic, fast-growing business.

 

The Challenge:

  • Support timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close, including assigned journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations

  • Prepare reconciliations across the balance sheet including bank, creditor/debtors, prepayments, accruals, fixed assets, settlement (control) accounts.

  • Prepare financial reports and assist with month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing tasks and ensure timely completion

  • Assist with ad hoc projects and requests

  • Work collaboratively with the finance team and other departments

  • Perform ongoing financial control functions in accordance with the Sportradar internal control policies

  • Assist in auditing activities by providing necessary information and preparing requested documentation

 

YOUR PROFILE:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance or related field

  • Minimum 2-3 years of working experience in accounting, preferably in an international company or BIG4

  • Understanding of IFRS is essential

  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)

  • Professional MS Office skills – especially Excel, Dynamic 365 accounting software knowledge is a plus

  • Excellent analytical skills

 

The minimum monthly salary for this position is according to the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

 

OUR RECRUITMENT PROCESS:

  • Two Technical Interviews: Meet with the Technical team and later with the Hiring Manager to dive into your background and experiences, and also discuss team fit.

Additional Information

The minimum monthly salary for this position is according to the Collective Bargaining Agreement. Overpayment will be considered depending on qualifications and working experience.
