Work closely with engineering, infrastructure, and business teams to identify, ingest, normalise, and optimise security log data from diverse systems
Build and maintain internal security tools, integrations, and automation (primarily in Python) to support security operations and engineering workflows
Adapt and evolve services based on business changes, user feedback, and self-driven recommendations
Act as a primary technical point of contact for internal users and provide ongoing or on-demand training
Ensure tooling and services remain compliant with audit and regulatory requirements (e.g. ISO, SOX)
Conduct Proof of Concept / Proof of Value activities by researching technologies, evaluating vendors, and testing new solutions
Support product and vendor selection through planning, implementation, and technical documentation
Contribute to security governance by embedding security principles into system design and business-as-usual processes through tooling, automation, and guardrails
Provide expert guidance to internal teams and stay current with industry trends and best practices

2-5 years of experience in a security-related role
Strong experience working with security logs and data onboarding for SOC environments
Hands-on experience with SIEM platforms (e.g. Splunk, Elastic / OpenSearch).
