Job Description
ABOUT US
Our division, “Sportradar Sports Performance” provides products to teams, leagues and federations from grassroots to elite and everything in between.
The Sports Performance department develops and provides the industry leading Synergy product suite which provides teams with the capabilities to gain a competitive advantage in roster building, and performance analysis. We also develop tools which allow leagues and federations to manage their competitions including video production and distribution. We are passionate about what we do, and we care passionately about our people. This role is based in Ljubljana and will work closely alongside our recently appointed VP of Engineering, giving you the opportunity to influence key technical decisions and shape the future of our products.
If you think you’re up to the challenge, come and help us grow, innovate, and develop!
THE CHALLENGE
As a Senior .NET Engineer, you will design and build large-scale, data-intensive systems that power advanced analytics and video delivery solutions for professional sports. You’ll play a key role in shaping how data and technology drive performance insights across multiple sports.
You’ll focus on backend API development for basketball and baseball platforms, while contributing to scalability, performance, and security across complex, distributed systems. This is a hands-on engineering role in an international environment that values collaboration, ownership, and technical excellence.
ABOUT YOU
You’re a developer who thrives on solving complex challenges and delivering clean, scalable solutions. You bring deep expertise in C# and the latest .NET technologies, and you approach architecture with clarity and purpose — using design patterns not just as tools, but as guiding principles.
You’ve spent 5–10 years honing your craft in software engineering. You take ownership of your work, lead yourself with confidence, and stay focused even when working independently.
You’re a natural problem-solver who enjoys fixing things, not just building them. You communicate clearly, collaborate effectively, and bring a sense of responsibility to everything you do.
You’re curious, self-motivated, and always learning — whether it’s new tech, better practices, or the people around you. You’re not afraid to step outside your comfort zone and embrace growth opportunities.
Bonus Superpowers:
- MongoDB
- Kubernetes or other container orchestration tools
- Kafka
- AWS, CI/CD pipelines
- MySQL or other SQL databases
- Docker
