ABOUT US:

Sportradar’s Coding Academy Internship Program is a great opportunity to kickstart your career in web development. Over four months, you’ll learn how to write high-quality code, collaborate in real development teams, and gain hands-on experience guided by our experienced Sportradar mentors.

At Sportradar, we believe web development is a team sport. Together with 4–5 other interns, you’ll go through an intensive training and exercise program designed to prepare you for the challenges of modern web development while gaining insights into the workflows of our 15 development teams.

We are leveraging a broad range of technologies, giving you the opportunity to learn and work with:
PHP • JavaScript • TypeScript • Go • MySQL • Git • Jira

THE CHALLENGE:

During the program, you’ll get to know the daily routines of professional web developers and practice essential skills for successful collaboration, including:

  • Writing clean, maintainable code 
  • Applying Object-Oriented Programming principles
  • Practicing Test-Driven Development (TDD)
  • Engaging in collaborative coding and teamwork

ABOUT YOU:

We’re looking for motivated, curious individuals eager to learn and grow into professional developers. Ideally, you bring:

  • Basic knowledge of at least one programming language (PHP, JavaScript, C#, Go) 
  • Basic knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3 
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a growth mindset
  • Openness to learning and proactive in seeking help when needed
  • A genuine desire to start a career in web development

OUR OFFER:

  • A full-time training internship (duration: 4 months (March–June 2026) for 5–6 interns led by experienced Sportradar mentors 
  • Practical experience with professional web development methods

  • Compensation: ~€2,000 per month (per CBA) + holiday & Christmas bonuses

OUR RECRUITMENT PROCESS:

  • Application Review – We’ll carefully review your CV
  • Online Program Presentation – Selected candidates will be invited to a 60-minute online session to get to know us and learn the details of the program, its structure, and requirements
  • Video Interview & Coding Task – Demonstrate your basic programming and problem-solving skills while giving us the chance to get to know you better as a person
  • Developer Interview – After conducting an extensive code review on your task, we will invite you to have an discussion with our developers about your solution and our feedback to it, as well as about your motivation, experience, and growth mindset
  • Feedback & Offer – We’ll provide you with feedback and, if it’s a match, extend an offer to join our Coding Academy Internship Program

Here is the estimated timeline for the process:

  • Application Submission deadline: October 19th

Additional Information

The minimum monthly salary for this position is according to the Collective Bargaining Agreement. Overpayment will be considered depending on qualifications and working experience.
