Due to some exciting growth here at Sportradar, we are looking for an Application Specialist Engineer (m/f/d) to support the Corporate Systems End User Technology Team based in Munich or Vienna. The Corporate Systems Tribe provides IT services and support for all employees, including enterprise applications and tooling. The End User Technology Team is responsible for main domains like the M365 tenant and its tools, global device management, and all employee software. The focus of this role is endpoint management, and this is a key role within the Corporate Systems End User Technology Team.

Our mission is to evaluate, develop, integrate & support technologies to empower our people to work efficiently, securely & compliantly. Your responsibilities will include ensuring that our endpoints are optimally set up for a variety of use cases, including advanced security configurations, seamless software deployments, and efficient troubleshooting processes. Work with an experienced team to own systems and applications deployment and automation where appropriate. This position encourages the use of the most modern technology to provide our users with the tools they need to securely perform their duties.

THE CHALLENGE:

  • Maintaining Sportradar´s endpoints and MDM tools together with team members to secure our environment and keep it up to date.
  • Design, configure, and customize devices and supporting programs to meet the needs of Sportradar and the end users.
  • Maintain and shape the overall experience of our employee endpoints, specifically focusing on Windows/Linux endpoints and the corporate mobile fleet.
  • Ensure these endpoints are optimally set up for a variety of use cases, including advanced security configurations, seamless software deployments, and efficient troubleshooting processes.
  • Proactively monitor and address the needs of our diverse team, contributing to the development of scalable solutions that enhance the effectiveness of our endpoint program.
  • Test and implement applications and policies based on Sportradar´s requirements.
  • Maintain Microsoft, Linux, MacOS, and Android/iOS environments.
  • Being part of our 24/7 on-call duty rotation 

Qualifications

  • Experienced in managing Windows, Apple and Linux devices with tools like MS Intune and Jamf and creating custom application installers and policies 
  • Being able to manage Endpoint Protection Tools like CyberArk Endpoint Privilege Manager to secure all endpoints and enforce least privilege without disrupting business 
  • Being familiar with Microsoft Entra ID and M365 Administration Portals and basic knowledge of Windows and Linux server management 
  • Understanding of scripting (PowerShell/Shell) and automation (infrastructure as code, like Terraform or CloudFormation) in addition to Git experience will be helpful in this role 
  • Having a good feeling about protecting our environment against threats across identities, data, and applications by configuring MS Defender and collaborating closely with our enterprise security team to ensure all devices comply with the latest security standards and company policies 
  • The Corporate systems space hosts a range of essential documentation including Procedures, Guidelines and Support Material, so having a good understanding of proper documentation is a key requirement 
  • self-motivated at work, looking beyond the bare minimum of what's required
