We are looking for a Product Delivery Manager (m/f/d) to help marshal our fan engagement product teams, both external and internal, to build a leading-edge industry product. The delivery manager helps to coordinate the resources in the Data Engineering, Analytics and Data Science objectives of the group and the unit to meet the needs of each of our clients. X/s/he also manages the deliverables of the team, is involved in requirements gathering with experience of interviews and workshops with key internal and external stakeholders, coordinates the dependencies and their scheduling from clients, across the tribe and prioritizes the external and internal resource scheduling within our dependencies on delivering our products and services. 

  

THE CHALLENGE: 

  • Navigating the external and internal teams through project dependencies e.g. designing PoCs and MVPs for our clients, designing a delivery roadmap with a view to long-term product roadmap. 
  • Working closely with our external (3rd party) and internal teams to ensure strong collobaration to ensure we meet the expectations of our clients and ensuring all SLAs and Service management terms are adhered to by partner teams. 
  • Comfortable with migration planning and scheduling of our code bases to the internal teams ensuring complete and comprehensive documentation, training and domain knowledge transfer. 
  • Align team with any existing engineering and data policies for security and compliance, drive best practices through architecture, DevOps and hosting review in line with the strategy for Sportradar, and to remove any barriers that would otherwise slow down or impede our new and existing services from going into a live launch for clients. 
  • Ensure strong governance and compliance across product teams (such as Architecture, Security, and Platform) as well as external teams (which sit outside Engineering such as Sales, Marketing, Customer Care, Legal & Privacy and third-party partners – marketing, commercial, data and privacy) to provide visibility/readiness for upcoming product releases and understand the scope. 
  • Managing dependencies inside and outside the unit (3rd party partners etc.) to ensure operational excellence and project delivery. 
  • Driving engineering initiatives and manage, schedule and report on outcomes. 
  • Supporting the prioritization and negotiation with different stakeholders/teams. 
  • Facilitation of prioritization meetings. 
  • Managing the roadmap on engineering initiatives/milestones/goals. 
  • Delivering great value within the Sportradar Program Delivery Framework. 
  • Working in a dynamic organizational structure with experience in similar matrix / agile organizational structures. 

  

YOUR PROFILE: 

Required: 

  • Experience in coordinating deliverables from a similar role. 
  • Ability to manage multiple communication streams and topics simultaneously. 
  • Any experience in cloud computing environments. 
  • You celebrate collaboration with others. 
  • Willing to act as a representative of the Business Unit in Engineering Meet-Ups. 
  • Willingness to be structured in matrix / agile organizational team frameworks. 
  • Advanced level of English language. 

Preferred: 

  • Ability to translate Engineering activities into business vocabulary.

This position can be based in various locations, preferably in Vienna.

We can consider other locations such as London / Munich / Bratislava if the situation requires, however regular business trips to Vienna must be expected. 

The minimum monthly salary for this position is according to the Collective Bargaining Agreement, overpayment will be considered depending on qualifications and working experience.

We will relocate our office near the Nordbahnviertel in the 2nd district of Vienna by the end of Q1/2024. Due to the top inner-city location, we are excellently connected to the public transport network and the cycle path network and are therefore very easy to reach.
