As a member of the Production tribe, your role is centred on improving the quality of life and effectiveness of the roughly 400 internal users, who work 24/7 to manage data for over 90 sports and 1 million sports events per year. This means working closely with our Product Designers/UX, Product Owners and Architects, to evolve our portfolio of in-house web-based tooling. 

Our web development location in Gera currently has four developers, and we are looking to strengthen it with an additional Senior Fullstack Developer(m/f/d). The role will consist of development, providing input on technical and architectural choices as well as mentoring and supporting junior team members.

THE CHALLENGE:  

• Build scalable, high-performance services on top of our real-time sports data, collected 24/7 globally for more than 30 different sports
• Maintain the highest software quality standards, and participate in code reviews, design discussions, and technical meetings.
• Collaborate with our software engineers, product owners, and UI/UX designers to create and improve end-to-end solutions.
• Become a domain expert in the exciting world of real-time sports data
• Work collaboratively in an agile development team (Scrum) within a continuous integration environment
• Provide assistance to less experienced team members.

• Extended professional experience in full stack engineering roles, demonstrating expertise in both frontend and backend technologies
• Strong desire to make the next professional step into a Team Lead role, previous leadership experience is a plus. 
• Enjoying mentoring and guiding others. 
• Care deeply about providing user and business value.
• Strong social skills and effective communication abilities
• Love a good challenge and want to learn and grow both individually and with your team
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS (GCP, Azure) and how to deploy web applications on them
