Overview 

Due to some exciting growth here at Sportradar we are looking for a Trading Analyst to join our MTS team based in our Central London office.

Our MTS (Managed Trading Service) is a liability management service for bookmakers and lotteries for both pre-match and live odds. The service delivers a complete risk management service for all events where our odds are offered. 

As a Trading Analyst you will be responsible for the daily running of Sportradar's rapidly expanding Managed Trading Service (MTS) and its core Pre-Match Odds Suggestion service (PMOS).  

The Opportunity 

• Real time monitoring of betting activity: Managing risk and customer categorisation 

• Creation and management of Sportradar's Pre-Match Odds Service 

• Testing of trading platforms and continued quality assurance 

• Effectively responding to betting operator queries 

• Undertaking detailed analysis of sports and betting market performance 

• Data interrogation and creation of management ready reports 

Your profile 

• Experience working in a similar role within sports or betting industry would be advantageous 

• Extensive knowledge of core betting sports (UK, European and US) 

• In-depth understanding of odds correlation between betting markets. 

• Exceptional maths skills, a good working knowledge of Excel, including formulas.

• Experience using SQL is preferred due to the analytical nature of the role.

• Strong articulation of analytical work.

• Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal.

• Ability to work under pressure.

• Flexibility to work with shift-based patterns.

• Proficient in all Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel.

• Ability to take immediate action in a fast-moving trading environment.

• A highly self-motivated team player, able to work with new teams.
