We partner with the largest sport federations in the world including UEFA, NBA, NHL, FIFA, MLB, ITF, NASCAR and many more.

We’re looking to expand our data acquisition team in Poland with a Backend TypeScript Developer. As a member of the team, you will work with experienced colleagues to define, shape and build the ways in which Sportradar obtains sports data from external sources and delivers them to both internal consumers and Sportradar’s customers who depend on the data being reliable, accurate and delivered.  

  
THE CHALLENGE:  

  
The tribe that you will belong to focuses on engineering shared technical platforms that underpin all of Sportradar’s products and services. Our internal services handle millions of data points per day that get distributed to internal and external users with low latency and high accuracy.

We need to build a number of fullstack internal solutions to constantly monitor and manage the way Sportradar aquires sports data. It’s an interesting challenge to build the interfaces that handle tens of incoming messages per second and visualize it.

  

YOUR PROFILE:  

  • Solid experience in JavaScript ecosystem (TypeScript/NodeJS/NestJS)

  • Cloud experience with AWS (e.g. AuroraDB, S3, VPC)

  • A DevOps skillset: Kubernetes, Docker, Gitlab CI, Terraform

  • Experience working with relational databases, MySQL preferably

  • Experience with modern web technologies, e.g. web sockets, HTTP/2 and gRPC

  • Knowledge of modern software system observability stack e.g. New Relic, Grafana, Kibana

  • Some understanding of the frontend is nice to have (we use React with MobX mostly)

  • Good command of English

  • Creating clean, high-quality and secure solution

  • Experience with TDD and BDD
