The Delivery and Evolution Practice in Sportradar is the home of engineering programme managers and agile coaches. Our mission is to continuously improve business agility by equipping the organisation with insight and frameworks to support collaboration, alignment, fast decision-making and learning.
This role, belonging to our Delivery & Evolution practice, will be responsible for effectively managing complex cross-team initiatives in a unit that strives to consistently enable Sportradar’s diverse engineering teams to deliver value and growth in a maturing organisation.

THE CHALLENGE
- Help shape our engineering and business landscape to facilitate measurable improvements in delivery performance and outcomes
- Plan and design deliveries, proactively monitor their progress, resolve issues and initiate appropriate corrective action.
- Take a lead role in planning increments of business value, with input from the Product Owner who ‘owns’ the delivery of plans.
- Identify impediments early, actively working to resolve those impediments and escalate when required.
- Facilitate coordination interactions, take actions and own the co-ordination of the actions.
- Proactively communicate deliver targets, commitments and progress to stakeholder, driving transparency and visibility.
- Encourage a culture of team-driven decision making, trust and commitment.
- Manage and track dependencies across Tribe(s) and squads.
- Define and embed programme control and governance, operating a Spotify delivery model (we use Flight Levels) within a high-growth digital company.
- Ensure transparent and regular reporting to the key stakeholders to ensure project status is clearly understood and timely decisions can be taken.
- Support the compilation of financial and KPI information so that initiatives are kept on track and within quality criteria.
- Maintain and update a Risk Log, Action Log, Decisions Log, and Issue Register.
- Coordinate retrospectives to distil good practice and continual improvement.

Required
- Experience of delivery management within an agile context for diverse programmes with minimal supervision.
- Strong skills in creating and maintaining programme plans, delivery dashboards, delivery roadmaps including risks, actions, issues and dependencies.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
- Experience of delivering objectives and key results, and Flight level coordination highly desirable.
