Job title: Oracle Fusion Cloud Payroll & Absence Management Consultant

Job summary:

We are seeking an experienced consultant to support the Payroll Department during the Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM implementation, focusing on Payroll and Absence Management modules.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Payroll, HR, IT, and implementation partners to gather requirements, design, configure, test, and deploy Payroll and Absence Management functionality.
• Configure payroll elements, balances, fast formulas, absence plans, accrual rules, and related components.
• Support data conversion, reconciliation, integrations (e.g., time/attendance, benefits, finance), and testing (unit, SIT, UAT, parallel runs).
• Develop reports/analytics using OTBI, BI Publisher, and HCM Extracts.
• Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, resolve defects (via Jira), and provide post go-live support.
• Create documentation, process flows, user guides, and deliver knowledge transfer/training.
• Recommend process improvements for efficiency and compliance.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM, specializing in Payroll and Absence Management modules.
• Strong knowledge of payroll processing, taxation, compliance, fast formulas, costing, legislative data groups, time/labor integration, and absence accrual processing.
• Experience with Oracle HCM Extracts, APIs, and integrations.
• Proficiency in Oracle reporting tools (OTBI, BI Publisher).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Preferred: Oracle Cloud HCM Certification (Payroll/Absence); prior experience supporting a Payroll team through an HCM transition/upgrade; at least one full lifecycle Oracle Cloud implementation.
