Job Title: RF Engineer         

Location: Newark, NJ        

Duration: Long term contract  

 Description  

 Senior RF Network Engineer to provide operations, administration, and maintenance of large, multi-site, digital wireless communications systems, including conventional and trunked land mobile radio systems. The ideal candidate must have 5+ years of experience with a practical understanding of trunking, microwave, and antenna RF theory; 5+ years of experience with RF communication networks encompassing analog, digital, T1, fiber, microwave, SCADA, backup power, and network elements; and 5+ years of experience with MPLS microwave networks.  

*Note: This position involves travel 50% of the time throughout the State of NJ.  

Required Skills/Years of Experience:  

• Bachelor's degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience  
• 5+ years of experience with a practical understanding of trunking, microwave, and antenna RF theory  
• 5+ years of experience with RF communication networks encompassing analog, digital, T1, fiber, microwave, SCADA, backup power, and network elements  
• 5+ years of experience with MPLS microwave networks  
• 5+ years of experience with radio/network equipment  
• 5+ years of experience with maintenance of large, multi-site, digital wireless communications systems, including conventional and trunked land mobile radio systems
