Job title: Desktop Support Engineer L2/L3 with SCCM

Location: Newark, NJ

Duration: Contract to hire


Must have the ability to troubleshoot complex OS and application issues (Windows 7/10 & macOS) that are not normally solved by level one or level two desktop support personnel. Able to manage configuring and deploying McAfee, SCCM and TeamViewer. This can entail working directly with other Global Technology Services groups or application owners to resolve the issue or complete the task that has been assigned. Will need the ability to work fast and independently when assigned a troubleshooting task, whether one machine or a group of machines are affected. Must communicate clearly each stage of the process to completion.



Technical Skills:

•                    An in-depth, enterprise level understanding of desktop OS's including Windows 7 & 10 and macOS and how it relates to networking, security and servers in an Active Directory environment.

•                    In-dept experience in managing McAfee, SCCM and TeamViewer.

•                    Performs general preventative maintenance tasks on computers, laptops, printers

•                    and any other authorized peripheral equipment

•                    Manage service tickets efficiently including accurate and clear service ticket notes

•                    Plan and manage projects efficiently including accurate and clear project ticket notes

•                    In a team environment, provide guidance to other technicians as well as learn from other technicians and engineers

•                    Managing Tickets Ques, SLAs and excellent customer support background


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

•         Experience required with Windows desktop operating systems

•         Experience required with Windows server operating systems
