Job Description

The Enterprise Architect will be responsible for developing new standards for IT architecture by ensuring consistency across various projects and leading change within the department.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop, maintain, and communicate the Enterprise Architecture Framework which includes target and reference architectures, roadmaps, position statements, standards and strategic documentation.
  • Assist in the development of future state IT strategy through coordination of the development of long-term IT plans, tied closely to business strategies and objectives.
  • Provide guidance and education regarding enterprise architecture.
  • Work closely with VP of Development, project management and SCRUM Masters to ensure project adherence to the defined reference architecture.
  • Participate in the architecture review process for new projects to ensure alignment with standards and strategies.
  • Manage the relationship with external IT partners and ensure they understand our policies and architecture when appropriate.
  • Maintain the EA tools and processes required to deliver an effective enterprise architecture.

Qualifications

  • BS/MS in Engineering or equivalent technical degree.
  • 5+ years of medical device management experience.
  • 10+ years of direct experience across several areas in IT.
  • Ability to strategize, understanding the goals of the company and creating effective plans to achieve those goals
  • Ability to clearly express complex issues through effective verbal and written communication
  • Positive attitude, motivated, adaptable, and focused
  • Broad knowledge of Information technologies
  • Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively at all levels of the IT organization and achieve alignment.
