Job Description

The Process Engineer role is integral within Spencer to engage with our external pharmacy, packaging, and clinical partners. As a member of the Pharmacy Operations team, the candidate will focus on three primary areas including new and existing pharmacies, new and existing clinical/pharmacy automation packagers, and support of clinical operations. We are looking for individuals that are natural self-starters, can quickly adapt to a dynamic business environment, and are comfortable engaging with multi-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have a technical background and will be able to think critically and react quickly.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage and lead the onboarding and integration of new pharmacy partners
  • Develop and maintain customer training resources
  • Provide spencer ecosystem and process training to new and existing pharmacies and their staff both remote and on-customer site
  • Monitor pharmacy performance and provide feedback and guidance to pharmacies
  • Perform both on-site and remote process and performance audits
  • Investigate trends seen during monitoring and work closely with the Reliability team to help with root cause investigations and solutions
  • Work with product development on evaluating pharmacy processes prior to new products being released  
  • Provide feedback to the data team on data reporting and visualizations to improve operational efficiency
  • Investigate and evaluate clinical and pharmacy packagers for software/hardware compatibility and integration with spencer
  • Work closely with engineering and project management to drive integration processes
  • Perform testing to verify the use of alternate packager materials with the spencer device 
  • Support clinical operations teams for the development and implementation of existing clinical studies
  • Report weekly on project status for both technical operations and management teams

Qualifications

  • BS in Engineering
  • 3+ years of experience
  • Experience with monitoring and metrics tools such as Tableau, Excel
  • Experience working in a regulated quality environment
  • Experience working in a clinical or pharmaceutical environment
  • Experience working with agile engineering/development systems
  • Experience with in-person training
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to travel up to 15% both domestic and international
