As a Front-End Engineer, you will focus on the design and development of our web applications that positively impacts the health of our customers in countries around the world.  We are looking for individuals with a strong passion for problem solving and developing software solutions in the medical device industry.  The ideal candidate will have software development experience in React, Angular, Node.js, RESTful Services, MySQL and NoSQL, and is eager to systematically solve complicated technical problems. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Front-end development using React to deliver a quality experience that delights our users
• Analyze business needs and available technologies to deliver quality software solutions
• Work collaboratively as part of a fast paced agile team to complete projects on time
• Evaluate new technologies to ensure software solutions are reliable, scalable and efficient
• Troubleshoot problems identified in the fleet to ensure the platform meets the company’s quality objectives
• Produce high-quality design, code and technical documentation

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of professional software development experience
• Proficient in developing clean, scalable Web applications in Node.js, Python and React utilizing RESTful Services with JSON content
• Proficient in building secure networked web applications
• Experience working in a regulated environment
• Ability to read, understand, and execute job functions in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures

PREFERRED

• Experience with converting legacy Angular framework to React framework
• Experience with AWS including cloud application deployments using Docker within AWS
• Experience with interfacing with databases via NoSQL and/or MySQL
• Experience developing automated tests using AVA, Jest and/or Jenkins
