Job Description

The Product Quality Tester is responsible for validating and executing test strategies to support product releases. The person in this role is expected to participate in all phases of verification and validation of a medical device ecosystem, including planning, executing, and reporting of test execution.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Implement tools and processes to ensure quality goals are met.
  • Support product quality verification and validation activities.
  • Develop and execute test cases, scripts, plans and procedures (manual and automated).
  • Execute product testing, and support planning and scheduling of project testing timelines.
  • Responsible for functional, regression, performance, load and stress testing of hardware, software, and integration products.
  • Creates and tracks the defects with application teams until their closure.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering/science and minimum 3 years industry experience.
  • Knowledge of programming and scripting languages including Python and Javascript
  • Prior experience with ISO 13485, GDPR, or similar regulation-driven procedures.
  • Knowledge of Quality Assurance processes, principles and methodologies.
  • Ability to write test plans, test strategies and task estimations and adhere to timelines.
  • Experience with current Windows and LINUX operating systems.
  • Experience with cross-browser and mobile platform testing in QA environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Self-motivated with good decision-making and leadership abilities.
  • Ability to learn quickly and work in a fast paced environment with quick turnaround.
  • Good Oral and written communication skills.
  • Able to maintain professional working relationships.
