Job Description

The Senior Program Manager’s primary responsibility is to work with all departments within Spencer Health Solutions to achieve strategic objectives by overseeing multiple project activities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead all areas of developing Spencer products such that products are delivered on-schedule and achieve quality standards and cost objectives
  • Work collaboratively as part of a fast moving team, leading in product deliveries for alpha, beta, and GA in accordance with QMS plans to ensure all artifacts are produced
  • Oversee company project management and work closely with engineering and product management to develop the project plan, define timelines, milestones, integration points, and implement this plan successfully with the team
  • Manage and work directly with third party contractors and contract manufacturers to keep them focused and accountable to deadlines, ensuring high quality deliverables
  • Drive meetings between relevant groups (such as Architecture, Systems, Software, Reliability, Mechanical Engineering, and Manufacturing) and appropriate supplier teams that require technical exchanges and decisions on near and long term directives
  • Coordinate hardware and software validation and qualification activities between Spencer teams and partners
  • Provide escalation management
  • Present options between business needs vs. technical constraints
  • Support technical writing project initiatives
  • Manage project purchasing activities including PO review and approval, receiving, and inventory
  • Implement best practices for our products and/or processes using consumer/market feedback
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in program management or program strategy specifically in software and SAS services
  • Experience collaborating to synthesize complex ideas, information, and options into a strategy, plan, or response and effectively communicate it
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills; bias towards making user experience driven decisions that are grounded in data and user analysis
  • Experience bringing program management in the healthcare space
  • Expertise in commercial and/or clinical pharma
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience working in a regulated environment
  •  Ability to read, understand, and execute job functions in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures

QUALIFICATIONS

  • MBA Preferred in Marketing, Business or related field or equivalent experience
  • Strong healthcare industry experience
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in a business environment, along with a proven ability to prioritize, organize and deliver on commitments
  • Proven ability to make smart feature decisions vs. time to market tradeoffs
  • Experience working directly with both marketing and client services/support teams to develop program implementation plans
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and proven ability to lead cross-functional teams through influence vs. direct management
  • Willingness to roll up the sleeves and to whatever is necessary to ensure a great customer experience
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities and create a sense of urgency in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
