Job Description

SUMMARY

The Clinical Project Manager is responsible for developing and implementing project plans focused on the integration of Spencer Health Solutions’ in the clinical and commercial pharmaceutical markets, and management of sponsor relationships which includes the preparation, monitoring, updating, and communication of the project plans to a variety of stakeholders.  This is a position will function as the primary lead of the program awarded to SHS and works cross-functionally throughout the entire organization to keep our projects on track and communicated appropriately.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Developing and Implementing a clear program plan tailored to the specific project
  • Ensuring quality, consistency, accuracy, and timely flow of clinical trial and pharma program management
  • Overall clear communication to key stakeholders around the direction, status, and completion
  • Reviewing and resolving issues on projects
  • Updating top-level management weekly on project status
  • Coordinate internal resources, especially department heads for the successful execution of cross-functional projects
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within the scope, and within budget
  • Monitor and track progress of the detailed project plan
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Ensuring compliance with regulated requirements
  • Leads efforts to analyze current operations projects makes recommendations for improvement and coordinates the decision-making process
  • Continuous strive to improve efficiently of projects
  • Work with Operations Director to manage external vendors and supply chain within projects
  • Focus on quality deliverables for contracted services and play a key role in the evolution of SHS expanding capabilities and overall brand
  • This position is critical in the establishment of key performance indicators, quality management plan, employing and evaluating the data from these metrics and serving to find solutions and interventions in collaboration with leadership team
  • The PM may play a significant or lead role in developing budgets, timelines, and quality guidelines for projects, training specifications, thereby ensuring that expectations and deliverables are met.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Customer and account management skills
  • Knowledge of Design for Six Sigma methodology
  • Computer skills including Microsoft Office Applications; Office 365, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, etc.
  • Proficient in managing timelines, project plans, and budget
  • Time management skills which include multitasking skills
  • Ability to work independently to tight deadlines
  • Distinctive problem solving, organizational, attention to detail, and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to read, understand, and execute job functions in accordance with  Standard Operating Procedures

PREFERRED

  • Working knowledge of Clinical Trial and Pharmaceutical Operations and processes
  • Working knowledge of HIPAA, ICH, GCP, FDA guidelines, and other regulatory agency requirements
  • Experience working in a Healthcare environment
  • Working knowledge of software development lifecycle and Agile processes
