The Data Analyst is responsible for working across the organization to develop the analytics needed to support Spencer Health Solutions. Working across commercial, operational, and development teams, and collecting data from multiple sources, stage and process data, analyze, create reports and visualizations of results.  Design data tables to support analysis systems. Identify new issues and opportunities, propose ideas and plans, and implement the solutions.  Plan analyses and apply algorithms for analyzing health data. Help interpret and translate analysis results into an easily understandable format for product marketing.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and develop data tables as part of system database infrastructure.
• Design and develop data analysis and visualizations to support various users groups
• Assist the development team for developing automated data extracting and analysis routines.
• Writing computational code for data extracting, analysis and visualization.
• Work with the development team to integrate the computational code into the software.
• Identify data related issues and new opportunities for the company products.
• Assist marketing team for explaining the products to users.

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Biostatistics, Physics, Mathematics, Operational Engineering, Analytics
• Experience with health data preferred
• Experience in an informatics and data analysis platform such as R, SAS or Python.
• Salesforce or CRM experience preferred
• MySQL experience preferred
• Problem solving, critical thinking, and communication.
• Development experience working with object-oriented based solutions.
• Experience in Database design and development.
• Strong attention to detail
• Cross discipline communication skills.
• Consulting skills
