Job Description

SUMMARY

As a Salesforce Developer, you will focus on the  design, development, and deployment of  integrated CRM solutions for Spencer Health Solutions clients. You should have hands-on experience in enterprise software development. We are looking for individuals with a strong passion for problem-solving and developing software solutions in the medical device industry. Creative thinking and a desire to grow and learn new things is a must. You must be able to work directly with clients as needed.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create solutions to business problems with Apex, Visualforce, and or the Lightning Platform
  • Create new objects and fields, configure page layouts and Lightning pages, leverage Salesforce automation, formulas, and validation rules
  • Work in a highly-collaborative team environment with an always-evolving mixture of active collaboration and quiet-time focused on coding (headphones use is commonplace)
  • Meet with clients on the phone, and occasionally in person, to discuss requirements, plan changes, collect client feedback on solutions, and troubleshoot bugs in a maintenance and support capacity
  • Work through development bugs and challenges and keep coming up with solutions
  • Occasionally write simple documentation on requirements discovery and solution design

Qualifications

  • Development/technical experience with Salesforce Service Cloud platform
  • Experience with Apex, Visualforce, Java or Javascript.
  • Healthcare/Provider experience preferred
  • Experience designing REST APIs that facilitate a strong developer experience or simplify systems integration
  • Significant experience with systems integration
  • Experience with the design and development of complex systems; employs a disciplined and rigorous approach
  • Adept at requirements analysis, estimation, systems and application design, and testing
  • Familiarity with popular Design Patterns
  • Excellent collaboration, influencing, and consensus-building skills. Ability to work with persons in all job functions (e.g. product, program, developers, Salesforce COE)
  • Excellent verbal and written communications
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities with minimal supervision. Self-directed
  • A great team player, with demonstrable experience delivering superior software products via Agile methodologies
  • Experience on an Agile team
  • Experience with modern languages, frameworks, and technologies such as Java, JavaScript, Node.js, messaging queuing infrastructures, as well as cloud and on-premise infrastructure and services
  • Experience with distributed computing architectures, including race conditions, parallelism, and concurrency control


Preferred Qualifications (not required):

  • Familiarity with Salesforce as a user
  • Salesforce Trailblazer ranking
  • 1+ years of experience in relational databases writing solid and optimized SQL queries along with experience in normalizing data
  • Salesforce certifications: Admin, Platform Developer I, Platform Developer II, and or any Architect certifications
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent work experience)
