 Prepares high quality food, follows all Spectrum recipes, and maintains budgeted food
cost
 Follows and holds back of house staff accountable for following Spectrum food and
beverage kitchen standards, policies, and procedures.
 Maintains food inventory by placing orders, receiving product, verifying the invoice upon
delivery and conducting accurate end of month inventory.
 Ensures that line is ready for service by preparing daily production list and stocking
stations during meal periods.
 Partners with the Director of Food and Beverage on hiring and training of employees,
creating the kitchen schedule, and leading the staff during designated shifts.
 Drives customer service excellence by checking plate presentation prior to dishes leaving the kitchen, touch tables during meal service and resolving customer complaints.
 Ensures the kitchen is compliant with local and 3rd party sanitation audits by following
daily kitchen opening and closing checklists, weekly deep cleaning checklists, storage organization standards and maintaining temperature logs Attends meetings, including pre-shift, Food and Beverage Committee, and daily
community Stand-Up, as appropriate.
 Works other positions, such as cook, dishwasher, expo and/or food runner, as needed.
 Properly uses all technology based systems including, menu planning systems , POS,
Rational, and supplier technologies.

 Minimum requirement of high school diploma or equivalent.
 College or culinary training preferred.
 A minimum of 3 years working in a food preparation position.
 Hold and maintain a Managers Food Handlers Permit.
