Job Description:

 

Have more than 4-8 years of experience in SAP ABAP, Interfaces, Reports and workflow. Should have experience in both support and development projects.

Experience in working with SD or MM or FI RICEF objects.

Proficient in quality processes, reviews and should know ABAP coding standards and best practices.
The prime responsibility of this position is to either manage a small team of analysts, developers or engineers and drive delivery of a small module of a project ( AD/ AM/ Testing) or serve as entry level specialist with expertise in particular technology /industry domain / a process of a ERP package.

If not a module the lead is responsible for functional / technical track of a project.
Understands requirements from functional specifications clearly and is able to map the requirements to prepare Technical specification.

Implements the solution based on technical specification and resolves issues independently in the areas of own skills.

Good knowledge about quality process and also guide the team- mates in using the various quality tools. Able to mentor 2-3 technical consultants and support them in developing solutions.

Along with Basic ABAP capabilities, candidate must have basic knowledge in one of the other areas such as Data migration techniques or conversant with basic knowledge of ALE/ IDOCs or Any one of the Advanced ABAP areas which includes:

1. BAPIs and performance tuning,

2. Enhancement techniques

3. Workflow

4. Smart forms

5. ABAP upgrade

7. Should have more than 6 years of SAP -ABAP experience.
Understands the functionality of the requirement and creation of Technical Specification for the object. Knowledge about Payroll, Time Management, Payroll Driver Program, Uploading time data (CATS), running the payroll.

Good knowledge about the Benefits Module, Payroll Related Info types, Payroll status record, Payroll control record, posting data to FI. ALE/IDOC, BADI's related to Benefits/Time Management/Payroll. Knowledge about HR Upgrade project and Unicode
