Job Description

Job Summary

The Revenue Analyst will be a member of the revenue accounting team and will report to a Revenue Accounting Manager.  Responsibilities will include management of our revenue system, testing the system to ascertain data integrity, ad hoc system enhancement projects and month-end close activities.

 

Job Requirements

  • Maintain data integrity and job process setups associated with RevPro (add-on revenue automation software to Oracle)
  • Analyze data to evaluate trends and assess reasonableness of the Company’s best estimate of selling price (BESP) for fair value revenue allocations.
  • Ability to identify issues, investigate and analyze data in order to  calculate and report  the financial impact
  • Play key role in the testing and implementation of projects related to RevPro, financial systems and business processes updates.
  • Advanced user of MS Excel, MS Access or other tools used to analyze large quantity of data and be a key resource in ad-hoc revenue analysis for senior management.
  • Responsible for month end and quarter end close activities, including report validation, journal entries, account reconciliations, FP&A reporting schedules and external audit schedules.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • BA or BS in finance/accounting.
  • 2 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Advanced Excel and Access skills required
  • Experience with RevPro and Oracle strongly desired.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written
  • Systems knowledge and experience with systems implementations a plus.
  • Knowledge of ASC 605-25, Revenue Recognition – Multiple-Element Arrangement and ASC 985-605, Software-Revenue Recognition a plus
  • CPA a plus
  • Work experience in a fast changing, large multi-national company.
