Job Description

Specshell is looking for a skilled software engineer. We are currently on a journey to make our software scalable and more customer focused. You will be part of a start-up-minded company with 25 employees working towards automating the brewing and bioethanol industry, where you can bring fresh ideas to the table. We have a cloud-first mindset and are not afraid to try out the latest technologies. 

We are transitioning from spectrometer startup to leader in biotech industry 4.0 solutions. 

Specshell’s has developed a robust inline midinfrared technology platform. In a genuine 4.0 manner, our technology and teams can provide customers within brewing and bioethanol industries directly with actionable data from their processes, through real-time biochemical profiling and advanced cloud computing features. 

Our company comprises highly multidisciplinary data scientists, software engineers, hardware engineers, sales specialists, and biochemical process specialists. Our company and technology currently serve global industry leaders on 3 different continents – our customers work at the scale of 100-4000 m3 per reactor! 

Qualifications

You are  

  • Comfortable working with our main tool stack: Docker, Windows, Linux, .NET, C#, F#, Blazor, and GitHub. 
  • Proficient in English 
  • Like to study, drink and analyze beer 🍻😜 

We would like 

  • Experience in building and designing event-based microservices 
  • Knowledge about CI/CD 
  • Knowledge about testing in all aspects of the SDLC 
  • Experience with one or more of the following 
  • Amazon Web Services, Kubernetes, Python, Grafana, Influx DB, MongoDB 

Furthermore, you should thrive with teamwork such as pair- and swarm programming, be keen on knowledge sharing through reviews and documentation and be willing to take on multiple roles besides your primary role.
