Position Description

The Security Architect position offers a tremendous degree of variety in a challenging, multi-faceted team-oriented environment. Qualifications

Educational and Experience:

·       Minimum Bachelors degree in information security or information technology related field

·       Minimum 3 years of information technology/internal security experience within a security operations center

·       Must be proficient in Amazon Web Services and securing cloud platforms across disciplines

·       Certification in at least one of the following: Security+ Network+ CYSA

·       Certifications such as GSEC,CISM,CISSP a plus but not required

·       Good working knowledge of current IT risks and experience implementing security solutions

·       Ability to interact with a broad cross-section of personnel to explain and enforce security measures

·       Excellent communication skills in order to fulfill security training across the organization

Additional Information

Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing current system security measures and recommending and implementing enhancements
  • Determines security requirements by evaluating business strategies and requirements
  • Researching information security standards
  • Conducting regular system tests and ensuring continuous monitoring of network security
  • Developing project timelines for ongoing system upgrades
  • Ensuring all personnel have access to the IT system limited by need and role
  • Establishing disaster recovery procedures and conducting breach of security drills
  • Implement security best practice across the environment to include verbal and written policy infractions where applicable
  • Promptly responding to all security incidents and providing thorough post-event analyses
  • Implementation and ownership of the SOC2 process among other future audit guidelines

·       Attend and participate in weekly Entrepreneurial Operating System team meetings.
