About the role

As the Manager of Loss Prevention, you will work closely with the operational departments to establish policies and procedures that will safeguard the company assets. You will play an integral role in further achieving, maintaining, and surpassing the hyper-growth journey that is Spanx.

This role is based in our Atlanta headquarters, requires weekly in-office work Tuesday-Thursday, and reports to our Vice President, Global Controller.

Job Description

You’ll love it because you will…

  • Develop, enhance, and operationalize risk mitigation policies, processes and controls.
  • Collect and analyze data from numerous sources, design workflows and procedures, identify data relationships and dependencies to help minimize financial risks.
  • Identify, track, and report key risk indicators.
  • Work closely with the operational departments (eCommerce, Supply Chain, Legal, IT, Accounting,  …) to develop, monitor and assess the effectiveness of fraud controls and loss prevention programs on an ongoing basis.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to review projects, business critical systems and related data to mitigate financial risks.
  • Manage insurance policies, including renewals, claims, and audits.

Qualifications

We require…

  • Minimum of 7+ years of experience in a Risk Management/Loss Prevention position
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, IT/Technology, or Legal field 
  • CIA certification is preferred
  • Compliance mindset with a strong sense of integrity and the ability to balance business interests with the need for compliance standards
  • Expertise in compliance standards
  • Excellent management and process improvement skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple complex & confidential tasks
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail & deadlines
