Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to join our team in Sheffield, United Kingdom. As a Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving the successful delivery of complex projects across our organisation.

  • Lead and oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables
  • Conduct regular project status meetings and provide timely updates to senior management and key stakeholders
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that may impact project success
  • Manage project resources effectively, including budget allocation and team member assignments
  • Implement and maintain project management best practices and methodologies
  • Facilitate effective communication between all project participants, ensuring alignment and clarity of objectives
  • Monitor project performance using appropriate tools and techniques, and implement corrective actions when necessary
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes within the organisation

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree is a plus
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in project management, preferably in a similar industry
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects within constraints of time, budget, and scope
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, PMBoK, Agile)
  • Professional project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner) is highly desirable
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and prioritise effectively
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Trello)
  • Experience in resource management and budget control
  • Solid understanding of risk management principles and practices
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels
  • Experience in presales activities and client-facing roles is advantageous
  • Adaptability and resilience in managing changing priorities and project demands
  • Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with industry trends and best practices

Salary range for this role is £XX,000 - £XX,000 per annum
