Job Description

Role Summary

We are seeking a certified and technically proficient Workday Functional Analyst with 5+ years of hands-on experience to support the configuration, optimization, and delivery of Workday modules including Absence, Benefits, Time Tracking, HCM, Recruiting, Talent, and Advanced Compensation. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys deep system work, translating business requirements into scalable solutions, and collaborating across HR, Payroll, and IT teams.

You will play a key role in supporting Workday implementations, troubleshooting issues, and contributing to cross-functional projects that enhance the overall HR technology landscape.

 

Key Responsibilities

  1. Configure and maintain Workday modules including Absence, Benefits, Time Tracking, HCM, Recruiting, Talent, and Advanced Compensation.
  2. Translate business requirements into functional Workday solutions using best practices.
  3. Support Workday implementations and enhancements through design, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
  4. Troubleshoot system issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement fixes.
  5. Develop and maintain custom reports and dashboards using Workday reporting tools.
  6. Collaborate with HR, Payroll, and IT teams to ensure data integrity and process alignment.
  7. Participate in Workday release testing and adoption of new features.
  8. Contribute to cross-functional initiatives and support integrations between modules.

Total Experience Expected: 08-12 years

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  1. Workday certification in one or more modules (e.g., HCM, Recruiting, Talent, Advanced Compensation, Absence, Benefits, Time Tracking).
  2. Minimum of 5 years of hands-on Workday configuration experience.
  3. Strong understanding of Workday business processes, security, and reporting.
  4. Experience supporting Workday implementations or module rollouts.
  5. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  7. Effective communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Experience with additional Workday modules such as Peakon or Adaptive Planning.
  2. Familiarity with Workday Studio or integration tools.
  3. Exposure to global HRIS environments and complex organizational structures.
  4. Experience with Agile or hybrid project methodologies.
