Job Description

Required Skills:

  • Minimum Experience 2-4 Years and good Skilled experience on IBM configuration of Webservers (WebSphere and HTTP, Apache and other web servers Administration of Webservers WebSphere Participate in Level -1 troubleshooting like start and stop of WebSphere application server, logs analysis and front-end support, L-1 troubleshooting task, delivery, support, and maintenance.
  • Develop middleware solution leveraging WebSphere MQ and support applications with different integration touch points.
  • Responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of the application systems in operation, including tasks related to identifying and troubleshooting application issues and issues resolution or escalation.
  • Keep direct reports motivated and engaged by closely working towards their career growth and providing equal opportunities to all.
  • Collaborate with customer and onsite/offshore team to do thorough impact analysis and to provide solutions accordingly.
  • Identify, diagnose, and resolve issues within defined SLAs.
  • Familiarity with database technologies, particularly with Db2, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL.
  • Proven experience working as a Middleware Engineer or a similar role.
  • Provide appropriate inputs to the Problem management process, RCA preparation.
  • Provide support, participate in the CAB, and change control process.
  • Management and problem resolution for all critical incidents and communicating with application owners.
  • Notify, escalate, and communicate to senior management on status of critical service requests, major incidents, and changes as necessary.
  • Experience in OS platforms (Linux, Windows, WebSphere, VTOM, Tomcat, mRemoteNG.) and have expertise on Linux Server and Application Management
  • Strong oral and written communication skills to effectively engage, persuade, influence and articulate technical issues and solutions to various stakeholders.
  • Must be organized, detail-oriented, and possess the ability to multi-task in a dynamic, fast-changing entrepreneurial environment.
  • Strong customer service orientation and the ability to build relationships across all departments.

 

Desired Skills:

  • Willingness to work in 24x7 x 365 environments.
  • Bachelor’s degrees in engineering with relevant certifications on RHCE & Microsoft AZURE Cloud environments equivalent experience.
  • Strong working knowledge on ITSM tools like ServiceNow, SMAX, JIRA etc.
  • Ability to think clearly, identify risks, and resolve problems and Changes.
  • Knowledge on ITIL and Certification preferred.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., IBM Certified System Administrator - WebSphere Application Server) are a strong plus.

Total Experience Expected: 02-04 years
