Minimum Qualifications

·      Bachelor's or higher engineering degree in Computer Science, or related technical field, or equivalent additional professional experience.

·      4-6 years of experience in software testing with manual and automation skills in a global organization.

·      Understanding of Finance domain.

·      Ability to troubleshoot issues - read logs, read code, database, escalate risks etc

·      Hands-on with testing activities like requirement analysis, Test case writing, Test case execution and defect logging.

·      Hands on experience of API testing using tools like SoapUI, Postman etc.

·      Hands-on experience on automation tools like Cypress, Selenium, UFT, Ranorex etc.

 

Preferred Qualifications

·      Has good understanding and experience of different types and levels of testing and test metrics.

·      Able to identify the test data required for testing and able to create required test data / mocks as required.

·      Experience in review of test artifacts (scenarios, test cases, dataset, defects definition) and ensure proper coverage.

·      Good knowledge and hands-on experience working with SQL, Database (understanding of table, relations, schema)

·      Knowledge on UAT and should have participated in UAT or Beta testing

·      Proficiency in any Test Management tool like TestRail, JIRA, etc.

·      Good understanding on Banking domain. Mortgage understanding is preferred. 

·      Proactive with good interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication skills.

·      Zeal to understand and learn new domain/technology

·      Basic programming skills preferred

·      Understanding of Agile way of working

 

What you will do

·      Understanding requirement, creating test approach, writing test scenarios and test cases

·      Perform story/requirement/SIT/Regression testing and defect logging

·      Provide inputs during scrum activities and daily reporting to lead/manager

·      Follow all the defined QA process and best practices with review of testing artifacts

·      Use your deep functional knowledge and help in product enhancement.

·      Help in building software products for banking and financing institutions with R&D teams that are openly collaborative, are non-hierarchical, respect contributions and work with agility

·      Supporting governance of product team to ensure quality and efficiency of solutions

·      Help in reinforcing organizational values and culture
