Job Description

Responsibilities:

● Be proactive in business needs capturing, challenge and providing inputs for formalization into features.

● Define Concept solution for the business requirements and write concept phase dossiers (CPD)

● Write/Update functional specification dossiers for applications that will be used by the development team.

● Raise and maintain the awareness and knowledge of PDM Applications and related methods

● Run E2E tests validating solution adequation to business expectations

● Master existing AIRBUS PLM solutions and IT platforms.

● His/her primary functions are to investigate and analyse various behaviours of PLM applications, propose

improvement process/ work-around methods for an optimized solution on the application.

● Identify, assess risks and opportunities in his/her area of duty. He/she identifies and prioritizes events that

might negatively/positively affect the programm/process/function objectives and he/she categorizes

them. He/she takes corrective and preventive actions accordingly.

● Write/Update Test script for test campaigns on the application.

● Performing End to End functional testing on multiple PLM applications and identifying/analyzing the

errors.

● Ability to work in a collaborative environment.

● Prepare Quick PoC (Proof of Concept) or a solution proposal for the Business.

● Support the application performance improvement initiatives.

● Excellent communication skills to work in a globally distributed team

Are you ready to share this exciting challenge with us?

1. Engineering graduate with 4 to 6 years of functional experience in Airbus PLM applications.

2. Functional Knowledge on Product Data Management (Product Structure, Release Process, Change

management, BOM, etc.) on Single aisle/A350/A380 programs.

3. Hands-on experience of PLM applications (such as Windchill, Enovia VPM, CADINT, Optegra, etc.) and good

understanding of configuration management, Digital Mock Up principle.

4. Excellent knowledge of Airbus specific Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Applications (PASS/PDMLink,

CADINT, VPM, CATIA V5, APS, Optegra, etc.).

5. Working knowledge of legacy applications like DPDS, TAKSY, GILDA, Optegra would be an added advantage.

6. Complex problem analysis, ability to diagnose, formalize, reproduce & address application issues.

7. Individual & proactive Way of Working. Experienced in collaborating with internal and external

stakeholders, adaptation and learning of the business processes speak to the customer, especially around

AIRBUS PLM application.

8. Autonomy with excellent communication skills to work in a multi-functional and distributed team

9. Experienced in working within a product delivery lifecycle.

10. Awareness on Agile/Scrum methods followed in software development.

11. Having basic knowledge in database sql queries is an added advantage.
