Sopra Banking software has an opportunity for a Consultant Infrastructure Architect as a part of Managed Services team at Noida location. This role forms an integral part of Sopra Banking Software’s Managed Services offering. You should be an excellent communicator and comfortable in a customer/key stakeholder facing role. One needs to have experience of large-scale design for projects ideally within the financial services sector. 

As an experienced Consultant Infrastructure Architect , candidate will have following qualifications.

       Minimum Qualifications:

• Degree educated in a computer or technology related discipline.
• AWS Cloud Practitioner / AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification

        Preferred Qualifications and experience:

• TOGAF or similar architectural framework experience and qualification
• Experience of cloud/third-party hosting is highly desirable.
• Network, server, and application virtualization experience.
• Networking (Routing, Firewall, encryption etc.) knowledge
• Knowledge of banking systems.
• Experience in a similar role, including demonstrable work experience of projects with major Fintech.
• Strong understanding / experience of networking, Cloud technologies, especially AWS.
• Good working knowledge and understanding of third-party product licensing particularly oracle and Microsoft products.
• Expertise in integration and implementation of service-related applications, such as service provisioning, real time charging.
• Good working knowledge and understanding of software development technologies and interface development and API integration.
• Good understanding of Data Security concepts and protection systems.
• Applicants must be able to work in a team environment and be able to interact remotely with stakeholders, customers on daily basis.
• The ability to deal with complex problems across multiple teams.

What you will do

• As a Cloud infrastructure architect, will be focused on evolving the AWS platform & roadmap.
• Act as a point of contact / tech lead support for team members.
• An active member of the Architectural community, collaborating with R&D, PS & S&CS. Architects.
• Design and improve secure, cost-effective customer systems in AWS.
• Produce and maintain service costings, cost models and the continual improvement.
• Produce technical presentations, be involved in demonstrations, and client-centric product evaluations.
• Input to technical responses to RFI / RFPs.
• Analyze areas of transformation within architecture and systems.
• Consult with senior managers to gather requirements and analyze technical opportunities.
• Present technical ideas to various internal and external stakeholders.
• Use and develop architectural documentation including templates and standard documents.
• Work with the R&D teams on alignment of Managed Service with the architecture strategy.
• Review application design with developers as necessary.
• Research and prototype new technologies.
• This role will involve working with various Sopra teams and directly with the customers, so confidence dealing with stakeholders at all levels is essentials.
