The primary responsibilities for this role include

Reporting to the quality director.

• The role is responsible for the building and maintaining the automation framework which is used by the R&D organisation
• Be the subject matter expert on test automation for the organisation. As such, the role is expected to,
  • Support and drive the automation approach across the team
  • Providing mentoring and training where applicable
  • Ensuring that the team is adhering to the process
  • Expanding the automation framework as required
• You will work closely with the head of the organisation, R&D teams, and external teams such as support, professional services, and the customer success team when necessary
• You will have experience of delivering automation testing for API first applications
• Influence software teams to raise the bar in terms of our automation testing

Preferred Qualifications / Skills

• Axway’s products are technical in nature and complex to understand and while the attributes below are preferred, the stronger your technical abilities the better.
• Required strong Java skills and Shell Scripting
• Knowledge and experience of Selenium, Windows, Linux, Postman
• 5+ years’ experience of QA / Testing (3 years full time of test automation)
• Degree in Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent
• Experience with web technologies: HTTP/S, APIs
• Frameworks: TestNG, RestAssured
• Operating Systems: Linux and Windows
• CI/CD Process Experience, in particular Maven, Jenkins, GitLab and/or GitOps
• Proven ability to estimate, plan and coordinate activities within teams involving multiple stakeholders throughout the SDLC
• Excellent communicator
